I am working on resolving an issue with the rendering of the site with the browser Internet Explorer 6. In the mean time , IE6 user should definitely upgrade to IE7+ I'll keep you posted. Max. Edited by m@x - 28 Mar 2010 at 3:00pm |

I'm browsing the site casually on my Safari browser and all of a sudden I get told that I'm using an Internet Explorer 6 instead. I didn't know about that and I doubt I am

I don't think IE6 is supported anymore, surely IE7/8 are the ones currently supported.
I personally avoid IE at all cost if possible I find it very bloated and slow. |

Max, why bother? Even Google has dropped support for IE6 it's so absurdly old. Anybody who's using IE6 at this point is either an idiot or unbelievably lazy.

We display a message to IE6 users only in the site: MetalMusicArchives.com will work better for you if you upgrade or switch to another browser.
But, IE6 is unfortunately used by 9.6% of people (but in constant regression) according to http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp. People are lazy I guest
