Huge list even if we exclude hard rock and other metal-related subs, including Marillion and many neo-prog bands, jr-f bands like Miles Davis and associated, old school punk, symph prog acts like Yes and Genesis, some alt rock including Smiths and Jam, classic rock bands like the Beatles / Stones and other rhythm & blues rock bands to hard blues and folk-rock.

Some great artists named above, including; Tull, VDGG, Robert Wyatt, Bjork, Caravan, PFM, Doors and even Johnny Cash!
Am I the only one who finds Ms Björk Guðmundsdóttir strangely alluring? And how on earth do Icelanders learn to speak a language like that
