What's your favorite album from this lesser-known but great and unique band?
If you don't know Cirith Ungol yet, go listen to them if you want original epic metal! Mine is "King of the Dead".

I´ve yet to listen to them. Perhaps sometime in the future I´ll remedy that.

I came across this band while putting together the trad metal list challenge. They definitely look intriguing.

Never heard of them, I'll have to check them out. They sound like a cool band based on their bio on here.

Cirith Ungol is excellent, I recommend. Epic Metal with influenced by the hard rock of the 70's

King of the dead is the only one I have or know. Dug it out last night prompted by this poll. I'd forgotten how good it is!

Haven't heard them for year's unfortunately and couldn't pick a favourite as I've never heard any of their albums from start to finish. Going to have a listen though.

My favorite is their fanbase's worst album, Paradise Lost. It's an uneven album but the peaks are the finest stuff by the band, imo.
This is one of my favorite songs in heavy metal - and Tim Baker is one of my favorite vocalists as well... |
