Picked up the new Accept CD (The Rise Of Chaos) on my way home from work last night. Yay for indie record stores who put the new releases out a day early!
I haven't had time to listen to it all the way thru but I sampled the first few tracks and it sounds suitably bad-ass.

From Discogs:
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/wyrd/vargtimmen-pt-1-the-inmost-night I've been looking for this for a little while now. Discogs has always listed quite cheap copies except the sellers stuck high postage on. I finally found someone able to ship for a reasonable rate and also got these two at no increased P&P. http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/ea/ea http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/lauxnos/my-dead-ocean

I found it a great funeral doom album (really one long track). I seem to be enjoying artists from the funeral doom sub-genre most of all.

Just dropped over £160 on a massive ebay lot of CD's. Some double titles that I already have but even accounting for those plus the two or three albums listed as missing their original packaging it still worked out at about £1.60 per album. A lot of bands I've been interested in but not got anything by in there including Rage, Edguy, Agalloch, Jag Panzer and Empyrium. There are also a couple of albums where I know my copy glitches that I needed replacements for. The doubles and any I end up not liking I will just sell on.

Yep, here's the full list (copied from the ebay page, so excuse the formatting). I do have a few of them so I'll be testing each double (they all look in great condition from the uploaded photos though) and selling them on. Many power metal doubles here like Blind Guardian, Helloween and most of the Gamma Ray. Might take a while between hearing everything I don't have though.

So after selling most of the doubles (have a few left) the lot I kept ended up costing me about £25 the lot. Still have quite the stack of albums to listen to out of this lot too.

http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/anubis-gate/covered-in-black Having to import this from the US. Fuck knows how a Nightmare Records release has got so screwed up getting on UK outlets. Also got these from the same seller while I was at it. Got a 15% discount for buying four CDs which helped negate the extra cost for Anubis Gate. http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/volur/ancestors http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/evoken/atra-mors I think I've probably bought more doom albums in the last few months than I ever have in any year before. http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/unleash-the-archers/apex
