Today I had found an old box of tapes in my basement and found some gems on cassette (among some lame stuff too). I found the following good stuff:

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath (I already have it on CD, but this version has the cover of Evil Woman)
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Ozz
Ozzy Osbourne - Diary of a Madman
David Lee Roth - Eat 'em and Smile
David Lee Roth - A Little Ain't Enough
Steve Vai - Flexable
Sweet - Desolation Boulevard
Yngwie Malmsteen - Rising Force (Already have the CD, but worth having the cassette too)

Has anyone else stumbled across surprising music-related finds around the house?

Some great albums there. In fact not a bad one. Not heard DLR for ages - think I'll line up Eat 'em next.

Were they old ones you'd forgot about or left by the previous occupant?

Well, I once found an old vinyl copy of Rubber Soul by The Beatles in my parent´s collection, that now resides in my collection.

Old ones my parents forgot about, but they didn't know where some of the tapes came from.
