Absurd (1981)
Early 80s Italian horror. The story line makes little sense but it's got a great soundtrack LOL so I'm gonna enjoy the music. LOL

While at my parent's house, we watched a documentary called 'Hired Gun', which profiles some session and touring musicians.  The most interesting stories come from Billy Joel's drummer Liberty DeVitto, but also features many others like Rudy Sarzo, Steve Lukather, members of Alice Cooper's band, Jason Newsted, Kenny Aronoff, and Richard Patrick.  A cool 90-minute Netflix watch.

I just watched In The Loop.  It's a political comedy with a great cast, perhaps highlighted by Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who).  I'd seen it before, but I grabbed the DVD at a flea market months ago, and never got around to watching it again.

Hell yeah Clap

I watched this one last night. Enjoyed it.

And today:

Coherence (2013).

I re-watched Casino Royale (2006)
Should have listened to some music instead. It's not a movie to watch again and again, unlike the Connery and Moore Bond(s) which are so much fun to watch. They made Bond so serious with Craig. Something got lost along the way...

The Awakening (2011). Pretty standard ghost story set in the 1920's.

Yeah it´s actually quite the brutal movie (the torture scene is pretty nasty). I like it though...and Eva Green...rrrrrrr....

I don't consider myself a fan of Bond. I like a few because they're good films but I can't get obsessive the way some people do about them. Regarding the Daniel Craig ones I did like Casino Royale but not the next two. I really failed to see what all the hype with Skyfall was about. It bored me near to tears. I've not seen the latest one and don't have much interest to.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988) - eighties horror comedy cult classic. Very dumb but also kinda fun.

Ha ha I saw that once, while drinking pot coffee. Pretty ridiculous movie, but the pot coffee helped Big smile.

Spider-Man: Homecoming - Spidey gets rebooted yet again, and the 3rd time is the charm. This version  is a little slicker/higher-tech than the one I grew up with but the flick was more entertaining than the last couple of Spider-Man movies put together. I wasn't expecting much from this and wound up pleasantly surprised.

Happy Death Day - A self obsessed sorority girl keeps repeating the same day over and over again - and she always gets murdered at the end by a masked slasher. Can she figure out how to stop the cycle before she stays dead? Sort of a combo of "Scream" and "Groundhog Day." Not a must see but a decent time waster.

A Dog's Purpose - A dog's "spirit" moves through several lives and bodies till it's reunited with the now grown-up boy who was his best friend. If this warm, fuzzy family flick doesn't make you tear up at least once, you have no soul.

The Collector (2009) - average slasher film. Don't think I'll bother with the sequel.

The Purge (2013).

Despite this film's rather poor reputation I actually rather enjoyed it, except for the fact that is was completely predictable and I'd guessed the end pretty much from the start.

is that the one with Ethan Hawke?

The movie was successful, it has two sequels.

Yes. And I know it has sequels (and a prequel coming this year). But it itself doesn't tend to be well regarded judging by it's RYM score (1.98/5.00) or critical reception.
