I realy like this guy, a nice and friendly person, so it seems he does not ooze the monster virtous he is. He is very honest about how he got were he is. From Racer X,Mr. Big, and solo output. There is a very cool youtube video were hes playing with Marco Minnemanb and Mr Hollywood wearing space suits. Impressive guitar lesson videos
So how do yall rate Paul as guitar player and as musician? |

He's an excellent music instructor and a virtuoso. One of the best contemporary guitarists IMO.

Here is the infamous concert by Paul Gilbert, Marco Minnimann and LInus of Hollywood, incredibly catchy, fun and technical. Edited by Balthamel - 17 Dec 2018 at 4:49am |

Here one more Gilbert supporter.
Being a Mr. Big fan, naturally, I like him. A few years ago, I've examined some of his solo works and would highly recommend the albums "Burning Organ" (2002) and "Vibrato" (2012). "Fuzz Universe" (2010) is also good. Edited by mrblond - 12 Feb 2021 at 5:09am |

He's a great player. I saw him in Mr Big. Must be over 30 year's ago now.

I don't care much for shredding but I love Paul Gilbert, great sense of humor on the guy

I only remember this album he played on, and I can´t say it´s really my poison: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/mr-big/lean-into-it I think I might have listened to this one at some point, and remember liking it a fair deal. I can´t say I remember anything from it now though: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/paul-gilbert/get-out-of-my-yard |

last time i watched mr big live in 2011, and of course seeing Paul Gilbert play guitar live is one of my biggest reasons! something funny happened when i came home from watching a concert.. one of my friends is missing, and it turns out he was caught by the police for fighting with someone over a pick that was thrown by Paul Gilbert..
