Another third watch. Argento's debut isn't on Deep Red level, but it's only just below it.

I thought it was fucking terrible, except for Noomi Rapace.

Never seen this before. Really liked it. Not the usual silly pointless slasher fest. Loved the monster, and would rate this as one of the better monster horror flicks I've seen.

A 70s disaster movie. What could possibly go wrong? Jack Lemmon, Olivia de Havilland, Christopher Lee, and a preposterous plot. Put your brain out of gear and enjoy.

Better than Aliens IMO, I can't stand James Cameron.

Can't believe it's only the second watch for this one. A long overdue revisit.

For a movie about running moonshine there's not much running at all. When there is though, it's pretty good! Dumb story, cheaply made, William Conrad and Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady) are both wasted on this uninspiring slog.

Vice (2015)

Hmm...sort of like a Westworld theme. It could have been great, but the acting, the script, and the most anonymous Bruce Willis I have ever seen make it a bit of a hard watch.

Quite possibly the most harrowing war film ever made or ever will be made. Kid's expression by the end of the movie just destroys your soul:

Been meaning to give this a second go for years. I was left with mixed feelings the first time around. Happy to say that I thought it improved a lot on the re-watch (or my taste in horror has significantly altered since I first saw it, which may actually be more likely), but there were also points, especially in the first half where I thought my rating was actually going to go down and possibly not even keep the disc. So maybe it still gives me mixed feelings. I think my issue is that the kid is made out to be the textbook little shit in the first half, which while its clear his behaviour is a result of the influence of the supernatural entity, makes it hard to watch. The mother isn't the most sympathetic character either, and again there are reasons for this which explain her behaviour, but I just largely find the pair unlikable. There's some redemption for both of them as the film concludes and I think it's an incredible slab of slow burning horror, but I don't think this will ever be a commonly revisited movie for me.

Pretty solid animated prequel to The Witcher Netflix show. Geralt makes a brief appearance as a child.

Completely fucked up and absolutely brilliant. This didn't feel like a three hour movie.

Mirrors (2008) - Just what I expect from a decent old-school occultic film. (I'd rather come across a masterpiece for sure, but they are rare.) 7/10

it's a remake of a South Korean horror, also watch that, I say it's much better

Yeah I know what you mean about the characters. It's a decent enough movie but not one I'm likely to revisit anytime soon.
