all great albums!! I have them all (otherwise i could not make this poll), but all are fantastic and I feel they all were are revolutionary or should I say brave releases of Metal music, ambitous is one word to describe it.
I could listed more albums but for now this holds for now Edited by Balthamel - 30 Dec 2010 at 1:29pm |

Went for Crack the Skye. Gave a whole new meaning to spaciness when they did it. The whole album is just awash in this heavy sound.

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

I'm not a huge fan of Traced in Air (or Cynic in general), but I love Crack the Skye. I haven't heard the 3rd option, though, so no vote.

I've only heard some of Periphery. I like Traced In Air, but Crack The Skye got me interested in Mastodon. I still don't have enough knowledge of Periphery's album to vote against them. so no vote.

Crack The Skye is the modern day Dark Side of the Moon.

This was a lot harder than I expected-- all fantastic albums! But Cynic changed the way I view metal when I first heard it, so I had to go with Traced In Air. Evolutionary Sleeper!
