This is up for Best Picture at the Oscars tonight. I suspect it isn't going to win but it was damn good though certainly an oddball movie.

If I were a betting man I'd say Oppenheimer or Killers of the Flower Moon are most likely to walk away with Best Picture but stranger things have happened. Maybe Barbie will go and win. LOL

Making my way through the whole series. I saw the first 4 films but evidently they released 3 more over the years that I wasn't aware of. Favorite character of course is Burt Gummer.

OK, watched the 4 hour version of this, and it was better than I remembered.

This was great fun. Not quite the same kick as the original, but that was a very long time ago.

A TV movie version of a stage show I was involved with many years ago. It's pretty much a forgotten show now, but for good reason. It's a bit shit... However, this is a well done version of it, and Carol Burnett is great!

This is a shitload better than I would have expected. Jon Voight and Eric Roberts received award nominations for this. There's some real suspense, and some quite graphic violence. Even the introduction of a female character at an odd time doesn't derail things (yes, pun intended...).

Two examples of great music but crappy adaptations from stage to big screen. Jesus Christ Superstar is the better of the two.

Very timely. A bit disturbing in places too.

For fans of 80s sci-fi movies. Warning: it's 5 hours long...

Oft ranked among the best of giallo movies (currently holds spot #4 on RYM's chart ahead genre staples such as The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Tenebrae, What Have They Done to Solange? and more) yet I found it really underwhelming and uninteresting.

A big disappointment as I've been waiting for years for the opportunity to see this one.

^ I've seen all the ones you mentioned except that one Adam. I should see it but sounds like I'm not missing much.

I tend to love the giallo movies even though they have very much a B movie vibe. I just couldn't get invested in this one. I didn't feel it had the suspense I'd expect of a giallo.

Very funny. A great look behind the scenes, if just a little sad.

This film had such bad press I almost ignored it but it has Jessica Chastain leading an overall excellent cast and lo and behold while it can't be considered a masterpiece it's a really solid action spy flick. It won't blow you away but it will keep you entertained.

For a film with no plot and no talking, this is incredibly engaging. And the Philip Glass soundtrack is mesmerising.

This movie seemed so cool when I was a teenager. Watching it now it's... not.
