    Posted: 27 Jan 2011 at 12:20pm
Here's a little suggestion I thought about a little while ago... I really love how each member can select certain artists as one of their "favorite metal artists". Wouldn't more statistics related to this feature be kinda cool? This is a unique thing that we should capitalize on IMO.

For example, if you were to visit Dream Theater's page, I think it would be cool if somewhere it said "This is in 234 people's top metal artists", or something like that. Or we could rank the "top metal artists" on the front page based on what people choose... the list goes on and on.

I have MANY other suggestions related to this topic as well, but these seem like the simplest and most fun.

Thoughts? Smile

I'm sure this is in the works, but I can't read Max/Phil's minds.  They are probably waiting for more members before implementing any features, or else there will be many artists listed with 0 fans (even some bigger ones).

I look forward to such features being introduced as well. Smile

You can add them as your favorites via the artist pages. Left hand column, "Add to favorite artists".

Oh and I agree that it's a good idea what Jeff is presenting here.

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.
