Don't feel restricted by genre, but please, post it up here!

A few off the top of my head...

Gary Moore - Bad News (Gary Moore)

Black Sabbath - Neon Knights (Tony Iommi)

UFO - Just Another Suicide (Michael Schenker)

Jimmy Barnes - Too Much Ain't Enough (Neal Schon)

Michael Bolton (Yeah yeah, I know) - Don't Tell Me That It's Over (Bruce Kulick)

Classic Petrucci

You may call it w**k, but to be honest, after all the rising tension in the song up to that point, I think it just bursts out into, something different. I can't describe it. Just awesome.

Solo starts at 4:05. Magical.

Shred meets pure emotion. THOSE SWEEPS ARE FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!

Perfect climax to the perfect album. Sweeping starts at 1:40

So enigmatic. Influenced a generation of tech-metal players, and tons of imitators.

No explanation needed.
Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

^The "Under a Glass Moon" solo is just amazing. John uses just about every trick in the book in that solo.

The last solo ( Its closing the song) in How Could I by Cynic is just amazing too:

Comfortably Numb and Rhime Of The Ancient Mariner spring to mind.

One of my all-time solos would be the 2 and a half minute long guitar outro that George Lynch does on When Darkness Calls from the 1992 Lynch Mob album. Some seriously passionate riffage there.
