The only one of their albums I have is "Transcend The Rubicon". It's pretty solid stuff, though I'm not super familiar with it.

I remember liking The Grand Leveller many years ago, 'tis a slow(ish) pace affair from memory.
Wily where's a good place to start with Vader? De Profundis? |

You have a good memory. There are both mid- and faster paced parts in the songs too though. I wouldnt call the album doom/ death by any means. Its kinda like how Autopsy also incorporate doom metal parts into their brand of death metal.

Upon first listen I cant say its something that makes my blood boil, but Im usually not that fond of really brutal death metal. Its mostly the completely indecipherable growls that irks me. I like brutal vocals but I also like when you are able to catch a phrase or a word here and there. The most brutal and indecipherable growlers usually become painfully monotone after a while. If Agony are not here yet Ill add them shortly. The cover artwork is beautiful though: Im a sucker for sci-fi stuff. Kinda reminds me of some of Asias covers. ...oh and I added them here: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/agony.aspx

^ I liked the song a fair amount, but the vocals were also a bit of an issue for me.

Yeah, I can see what you guys mean. I don't place much worth on lyrics, so generally don't particular care if the vocals are decipherable. I'm not a huge fan of the brutal stuff (well in an overtly technical way) myself but for some reason while browsing ol' youtube that one stuck out.
Thanks for adding them, btw. |

I love sci-fi art as well. Seem to get a lot of it in Death metal. I think this is definitely one of my favs: Great album too.

That's a good one. The Ultimate Incantation was decent, but De Profundis is where they truly begin to show their colors. Also, Bolt fucking Thrower |

This one sounds pretty good so far, pretty intense, yet symphonic death metal. Think recent Septicflesh but more aggressive.

Upon finishing it I think it was good, but a little samey. I'll post a review after I've digested it for a few more listens.
World definitely needs more symphonic death metal bands though.
