The only "traditional" black metal albums I like, (yes albums) are
"De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" by Mayhem and 'Hvis lyset tar oss" by Burzum. As for not "standard" black metal bands: Drudkh, Negura Bunget, Agalloch, Ulver's first album, Early Vintersorg, Alcest |

Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Testament. The real Big Four of thrash metal!
Listen to doom metal, worship Satan |

My favourite bands:
A Forest of Stars Fen Primordial
De Magia Veterum Oranssi Pazuzu Kvelertak Thy Catafalque Diabolical Masquerade Agalloch Drudkh I think black metal is an amazing genre when it comes to experimentation and combining it with other styles, but I'm not particularly into its traditional variants.
