I'm in search of a few massive discographies in our database, possibly for reviewing purposes! I can only think of a few off the top of my head (*cough* Senmuth *cough*), but all suggestions are welcome! Please provide a link to the artist page on MMA with your suggestion... hopefully a few other people will also find this topic useful. Smile

Nothing I can think of really comes close to Senmuth, that guy makes like 10 albums a year. Confused

I actually haven't checked any Senmuth out, or if I have, it's been a while.  Where to start?

There's Nadja (whom I have never listened to but know of): http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/nadja.aspx

Man that page is in a state. Unhappy

That have 28 albums according to EM.

It depends... if there's a grindcore act with about 30 EP's, that's good, but I'm mostly looking for 25+ studio albums. Smile

I think this one might apply: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/unholy-grave.aspx. Im still not finished with the 2009 and 2010 releases but the disco is massive as it is.

...and mind you that before I started working on the Unholy Grave profile Musicbrainz had only added two releases without cover artwork. Its been hell adding all those releasesDead.

Yeah I actually just added their two latest albums last week and discovered how massive their disco is. Id be interested to know if the quality of the material is acceptable all the way through.

The Korperschwache dicog is of a considerable size... and it's not even complete.

There is also Sabbat, but that's mostly EPs and stuff.

Tey the old ones... Balck Sabbath, for example, have many studio albuns: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/black-sabbath.aspx?ac=black%20sabbath

(If you do, please write a fair review of Dehumanizer... I can't believe the rating of this album is only 3,04! The people here don't like METAL?Confused)

The black metal band Sabbat have five studio albuns and 53 EPs/Split albuns! See: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/sabbat%28japan%29.aspx?ac=sabbat

It's not exactly massive yet, but it potentially could be, Folkearth usually turns an album out a year, the only year since 2004 they haven't was 2005, but they made up for that by doing 3 in 2008.

http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/folkearth.aspx

Plus there's a sister project Folkodia which has an additional four albums in much the same style and many of the same musicians.

I was going to mention Sabbat as well.  Boris is also respectably large (I mean, they've released 3 albums this year), especially when you take into account all their collaborations and such that aren't on this site (I should really add some of those)

The fuck you talking about?  They have nine "albuns".

Also, we have Motorhead with 21 studio full-lengths: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/motorhead.aspx?ac=motorhead

Calm down, blackhead. You are right, it's nine. About the "albuns" thing, "engrish" is not my native language.
