Oh! Almost forgot! Reno Killerich! He played drums in Panzerchrist for a while.
He was pretty essential to their flattening brutality effect. |

Nick Menza is great. Best drummer in Megadeth, followed by Gar.
I think Lombardo's best performances are featured in non-Slayer albums to be honest. Testament - The Gathering and the 4 Grip Inc albums.

i agree with Vinnie Paul and his laying of grooves, he also have a really nice sound to his bass-drums
also John Dolmayan of SoaD is i think similar to Vinnie Paul in the groove department, i also think Hellhammer in Dimmu Borgir and Arcturus is very very good drummer and rarely talked about
