I bought Operation Mindcrime (for the first time)

This is some seriously good stuff. I've heard it's their only good album though and that nothing else is worth my time, is that true ?

Wasn't looking for this, but a market stall that sells old magazines had a stack of the Classic Rock exclusive album and magazine packs sitting there for 2 a hit, so I thought it would be worth a punt. Haven't listened to it yet though.

A red coverShocked. Mine looks like this:
.. Album Cover

Pretty interesting that such a rare album would come with two different cover artworks. I had no idea this was the case.

No...Id say at least the first 5 albums are worth your time and money. but Mindcrime is of course in a league of its own.

Empire is also great, and everything up until Promised Land is worth hearing. After that, they just went downhill IMO. American Soldier isn't bad either, though.

But, yes, Mindcrime is definitely their masterpiece. Thumbs Up

Do you know if the digipack is a reissue of sorts?

The album was reissued by J.A.N.A. Records in 2002. A re-recorded version of "Just Like A Timepiece" resurfaced in 2004 on The January Tree, DST's third album.

Re-release of 1993 solo album in J.A.N.A Discs in Red Digipak
Booklet comes with original Cover

The info came from here

Big smile

At Siren Records in Doylestown, PA.

I got it for 2 fucking dollars, as well as every other thing in this pile.

I'm dead serious. Shocked
