We all love Maiden, don't we? Tongue

I have a soft spot for Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and Somewhere in Time, I remember both being quite difficult to get into, but in the end they rewarded like no other. Brave New World is a special album for me too, as it started my Maiden journey, but it still might lose a bit to the other three classic era albums. Not so sure about Piece and Slave, though, the latter being very uneven.

I think I'll vote for Seventh Son.

Voted Powerslave. I don't own a copy of it yet but what I heard of it sounded really, really good.

Seventh Son slightly gets the edge over A Matter of Life and Death.

I voted for Brave New World, with The Number of the Beast as a runner-up. As odd as it may sound, I've never really managed to 'get' 7th Son... completely.

Difficult, but I'll vote for Somewhere In Time, because all of the songs are perfect masterpieces. Piece Of Mind, Powerslave, The Number Of The Beast, Seventh Son are also amazing.

I definitely prefer Paul DiAnno as an air raid sirenLOL

Soooo I went for the debut, which as raw as possible and really show what they were about

Jillers is fine also, but bears too much Martin Birch's paws all over it >>IM sounds almost like DP
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicted musicians to crazy ones....

Somewhere in Time for me...my first real metal album.
We're gonna do a little number featuring Randy Rhoads...

Piece of Mind!

It's got so many amazing tunes, also came at an awesome transition phase of the band. Gotta love the opening of Where Eagles Dare: Doo-da-do-da-loo-da Doo-da-do-da-loo-da Doo-da-do-da-loo-da DOO!

admit it, you can hear those drums in your head now

It's close between Powerslave and Killers for me, so I'll choose Killers since it has no votes yet.

Popular band makes popular poll apparently.

I voted Powerslave, followed by the the first two albums as I'm a kind of DiAnno man!

Definitely Killers, is an album that revolutionary the metal sound in the early 80's.

And also Murray and Smith were pionners in the then new techniques about guitar  soloing and the way that played.

Just listen to the solo of Murray in Killers, is simply awesome!!!

Also the structure of songs like Murders in the Rue Morge, Ghenkis Kahn and the speedy Purgatory, by far his most rapid fire song.

Also this album have one of the MOST underrrated and never played live song of a softer side of Maiden: "Prodigal Son", that is a very good ballad.
