Pretty interesting that such a rare album would come with two different cover artworks. I had no idea this was the case.

Mine is a digipak.

Do you know if the digipack is a reissue of sorts?

The album was reissued by J.A.N.A. Records in 2002. A re-recorded version of "Just Like A Timepiece" resurfaced in 2004 on The January Tree, DST's third album.

Re-release of 1993 solo album in J.A.N.A Discs in Red Digipak
Booklet comes with original Cover

The info came from here

Ha, yeah. I have to say I like them a whole lot. Can't believe I never heard of them until about 2011, and never tried them until this year.

Did buying Somewhere In Time from Iron Maiden and the DVD for the making of Black Album (Classic Albums serie) by Metallica as a birthday gift for my girlfriend counts? LOL

Miles ahead of all the clones though.

Anyway, at the flea market today:

The Old Man's Child and Marduk CDs were $2.00 each.  The other two were $7.00 each.

However, upon further examination of the $2 ones (after I purchased them), I realized that their casings were replacements.  The booklets and CDs were authentic, but the back art of both of the CDs were totally gone.  Just white.

I probably won't be able to get an mp3 from the Marduk CD up because it's a version from Osmose Productions, and apparently it has a copy protect feature that makes it unreadable on PCs.

I also picked up this live DVD.

Enjoying it for sure, it's like an attack. Gotta give it more time to see where I'd rank it in their discog. Really liking the (deceptive) 'straight ahead' metal feel to it.

Yeah, absolutely, miles ahead of their clones, true, true

I feel the same way about it. Its more straight ahead and by now I think its the right decision to take their music in that direction. Ive actually already written a review, but I want more time to listen to the album to see if my opinion changes before I post it.

Me too - I feel like I need to spend more time with it, I find it hard to write a review so soon after an album is released, because I'll end up (wanting to) change it two weeks/days/minutes after I post the damn thing! Wink
