   Hi everyone, I'm Nergal131. 

I'm 21 years old, am currently studying biotechnology and I have been into Metal as a whole for the past 8 years or so. I first started listening to Iron Maiden and Metallica because my older brother sort of forced me to. And then I discovered Jag Panzer's Ample Destruction and Riot's Thundersteel, which completely rocked my world at the time and pretty much made me the rabid addicted metalhead junkie I am right now :D 

I got to know this website through Adam over at Heavy Metal Haven, he told me all about it and it piqued my interest. 

My favorite genres? I used to be a very big advocate of Power Metal but now, while I still am a very big fan of Power Metal in general, I've started to appreciate Heavy, Progressive, Speed and Thrash Metal more and more. Some of my favorite bands would include Pharaoh (obviously the best band in the world, amirite?), Manilla Road, Throes Of Sanity, Virgin Steele, Dark At Dawn, Ballistic, Messiah's Kiss and Auvernia, my favorites sometimes change over time but I always come back to these bands, punching myself for forgetting just how good they are.
