At uni today there was a 2nd hand vinyl sale, so I got Queen's debut and Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down' for my wall. It was 5 each or 6 for 20; They had a few more things I might've bought like Led Zepp 4, Tull's Benefit and Rush's All The Worlds A Stage to make up the 6.... but I didn't have the cash on me and there's no cash machine witihn a 10 minute walk of that building.

Went to that vinyl thing in uni again;

picked up Genesis'  Foxtrot & Selling England'
Yes' Yes album & Close To The Edge
Tull's Benefit
and Skynyrd's First and Last (to make up the 6 for 20 deal, it should've been Led Zepp 4 or the Rush live album, but they got bought when I went to the cash machine)

I have a feeling you'll enjoy that Gamma Ray one.  There aren't many weak points in their discography from the mid-'90s up until Majestic.

Harry, can I just say I love your avatar. DOOM forever!

sorry for interrupting this conversation with that.

My most recent purchase were some ISIS, Mogwai, Russian Circles, and Rise Against albums. Oh yes, and As I Lay Dying.

Sorry, other than As I Lay Dying, those aren't all that metal! Well, ISIS frickin' kills, though...

Black Label Society - 1919 Eternal and The Blessed Hellride.

I kind of wanted them to be like C.O.C's Americas Volume Dealer album.... and they were, without any of the charm, or hooks, or memorable bits.

I kind of wish I hadn't bothered.

Maybe they'll grow, but they seem so, so, so bland at the minute.
