Jethro Tull [REJECTED]

That's a stretch.  Even for Folk metal.  Tull has their place on PA.

They did because the people there were idiots. I have that album (Crest of a Knave), and it isn't metal by ANY stretch of the imagination. 

No one said you're an idiot - the Grammy people were, though. 

Maybe the guitars are heavy with some of the same riffs, the song Aqualung with growl vocals and no more flute would be like metal or before metal, still if Grammys are idiots then award may be wrong as proof of heavy metal but jethro tull is good band with some metal and some flute both, but not wimpy flute like classical but maybe new category for heavy flute but maybe tull is seen better without the flute and more heavy so forget the flute and hear heavy metal guitars on aqualung or when Iommi was member of Tull.

I really don't think they belong here. Some heavy edges don't make a metal band.

Sorry bro, I love JT to death, but we might as well add Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Pink Floyd, and Kansas if we're going to call Jethro Tull metal.

No offence at all but you could use a few full stops in your text to keep it readable, I'm having hard time trying to decipher what exactly you are saying. If you meant that Jethro Tull will be added here some time unnoticed, I will highly doubt that will happen.

Genesis could almost make it here for "The Knife"
King Crimson for "Red" and most trio era
Pink Floyd for "The Nile Song"

They're related; Tony Iommi once played guitar for them, which explains the uncanny Tull-like sounds on Sabbath's debut.
