which of these two bands is heavyest, most distinct and most metal overall,

Nektar was recently added and have yet to gather reviews, Rush is farely popular and have many reviews and have a strong image in early development of metal/ prog metal, but have Nektar any influence or have they some word of mouth in 80s metal birth. i know Maiden coverd a Nektar tune so they have been of interest to some of the british wave  of Heavy metal pioneers

how is most metalzzzHeadbanger

Cool.  I was not aware of this song.   Was it a B-side on Aces High?  (I assume this based on the picture saying Aces High).

I never really considered Nektar to be that heavy.  More psychedelic/spacey and symphonic then heavy.  A Tab In The Ocean is a great album.

i think they are among the heavyest of the prog bands, heavy guitar and symphonic guitar riffs rather then blues based, and as proto metal tag says mixing of pyschdelic rock and hard blues rock and Nektar is that a mix of psychadelic rock (they are much heavyer then Floyd),  and hard rock
