To be honest, I'm not the biggest Rap fan in the world, so I haven't heard them much. The singles are the most obvious songs, and are good songs, but all the others just kinda sound the same to me. The same beat in the background with Eminem just rapping angrily about how he wants to kill people and do drugs etc.

Like I said I haven't heard them enough times to become familiar with all the songs, but if you like the singles then they're worth picking up if you can find them cheap. (ie. Ebay, like me Big smile )

Thanks. Smile

I'm not a huge rap dude either, but I really enjoy NWA, Wu-Tang Clan, The Fugees, etc. on occasion.

Dalek is great.

As for metal, today I picked up
The Sound of Perseverance by Death

Death is one of my top 5 bands, and their material is hard to find/very expensive. So I'm stoked to know they are reissuing the Death discog. Better still, there is some improved quality but still sounds the same.

When I was around 18-19 and just starting to get into Death, you couldn't find any of their albums in the stores (except my Death introduction in Sound of Perseverance).  Now I always see at least 3 or 4 Death albums at most bigger CD stores.

Nice!
Guess it all depends. Over the last...about 4 years I've only seen Symbolic at my record store, (which I grabbed a long time ago) and sometimes Leprosy. That's it. And online they were crazy expensive. But it's OK since they are re issuing the whole discog!

Oh and I went back, (such a music addict) LOL picked up "The Gallery" by Dark Tranquility. Believe it or not never heard in entirety...really good stuff.

Heh - I bought Death's debut a couple of weeks after it came out, simply because I found the fact that a metal band had finally chosen that name hilarious.

It's not too hard to find most of Death's back catalogue on vinyl at "reasonable" prices - the re-issues are overpriced at 25 or so - you can easily get an original for much less. There's a Test Pressing of "Sound of Perseverance" on eBay priced at 30, with 0 bids as I write, and a copy of the debut that hasn't broken the 0.99p barrier.

Bought a fantastic conditioned copy of Saxon's debut and "Narita" by Riot recently for 3 each, and a Led Zep II on Plum and Orange for 10 - bargains!
