Just finished Robocop 3.

Was about as good as the other 2 despite having a different guy play Robocop.  Surprised to see a few people in there (Stephen Root, Jeff Garlin, and that guy who played George's boss Kruger on Seinfeld).

Watching a 99 cent VHS tape I found of Platoon.

Been meaning to see it for years.  Yet another great Vietnam war movie.  Deserving of its praise.

Excellent film, one of my favorites of the year thus far.

Well considering the guy who made it directed 50/50, you can expect a little more than a Twilight with zombies instead of vampires. It's not as awesome as 50/50 which is a hard thing to do, though it's still funny when it needs to be and it's well acted. I can't say for sure that you'd like it but for me it got the job done.

On par with the first Iron Man. I was thoroughly entertained throughout the duration of the film. I can't put up against the second Iron Man since I haven't the chance to watch it. I'm not too concerned mostly because a friend who I have similar taste when it comes to film with said it's skippable. Maybe one of these days I'll give it a shot.

What's wrong with movies being very gay?  Labyrinth is fantastic

I just watched In The Loop.

Pretty funny film, especially Peter Capaldi's character.  Only disappointment worth noting was despite the fact Steve Coogan was on the poster, he was barely in the movie.

I watched Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap.

Ice T directed it.  It basically gathered a couple of opinions from some rappers on where they got their inspiration and how they write.  Pretty good, but I'm sure there are some other docs that get a bit deeper than this one.

Last night I watched Escape from L.A.

It's basically the Home Alone 2 of action film sequels (also like Die Hard in the same regard).  Same character, same situation, very similar gags, but different location.  Still, I'd love another Snake Plisken movie (with Kurt Russel).  If Rambo got a new movie, why not Snake?

Tonight I saw Men Who Star At Goats.

Nice light comedy with a pretty good cast and interesting story.  However, I'm not sure if I'd need to see it again to be honest.

I just watched Cube.

A bit of a Canadian puzzle/sci-fi/suspense film.  There is a sequel and a prequel, which were probably needed to build more of a story.  I may watch them some day.

I watched 2 documentaries over the last few days.

The Greatest Movie Ever Sold

Light entertainment covering product placement in movies.  Not quite in the league of Supersize Me, but worth a single watch.

That Guy Who Was In That Thing

The mood drifts from lighter to serious, but contains several stories from working/character actors chronicling their efforts to find work in film.  The actors selected were truly those ones that I knew (mostly), but could name them at gunpoint.

Watched Mansome a few days ago.

Yet another Morgan Spurlock documentary.  The narrative scenes using Will Arnett and Jason Bateman gave the film a unique feel that I'd say was better than if Spurlock was the voice of the entire film.  Like most of his films, there's no real need to see it more than once.

Whatever Works

This is actually the first time I've seen a Woody Allen film from start to finish.  It was pretty good, though Larry David I enjoy more when he plays himself.  The dialogue definitely had the feel like I was watching a play instead of a movie

I watched Extract last night.

I last watched this movie (for the first time) soon after it was released on DVD.  It's every bit as funny as I'd remembered.  I think I even enjoyed it more the second time as I forgot a good portion of the characters and dialogue.  I highly recommend this movie.  Mike Judge has a knack for coming up with great characters.

Last night, I watched some Canadian sci-fi.

Beyond The Black Rainbow

It was much more reliant on imagery and atmosphere than dialogue, which leaves a bit of it up to interpretation.  It's only a few years old, but it's set in the 80s.  It felt a bit more like a late 60s/early 70s, especially with the sountrack.
