Alien: Covenant. Not too bad...a bit heavy on the philosophical stuff, what w/ the androids and all.

Saw this film yesterday. I really liked it, it's very psychological and mysterious.
Only the dead have seen the end of war.
Without music, life would be a mistake.

LOL Reminds me of a movie called 'Rubber' about a homicidal tire named Robert: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1612774/

Just watched:
"The Matador" (2005)
A contract killer teetering on the edge of burn out (Pierce Brosnan) meets a dorky salesman (Greg Kinnear) in a Mexican hotel bar, and the two men strike up an odd friendship ... which ends up with Pierce needing Greg's help to finish one last job.
A well written, funny twist on the "buddy comedy" formula, with great performances by the two leads. Brosnan is definitely having a ball playing the total opposite of his usual super-suave type.

"We Are X" (2016)
An interesting documentary about the long and sometimes bizarre/tragic history of Japanese rock legends X Japan, who are treated as Gods in their homeland but are virtually unknown in most of the Western world.
X Japan is one of those bands I've always heard much about, but till I watched this film I don't think I had ever actually heard their music. In spite of my near-total unfamiliarity with their material, "We Are X" was an engrossing rock doc. If you're a fan you'll probably dig it even more than I did.

X Japan are one of my favourite Japanese bands. Looking forward to watching that documentary.

Revisited the first "Iron Man" film yesterday. Been a while since I've seen it and it still holds up very well. Robert Downey Jr. was the perfect choice to play Tony Stark, he's got that "smug rich guy" thing down pat.
