An action Classic from my childhool. I re-watched it with my son, and while it´s a time typical 80s action movie, I still enjoy it for what it is:

A few days worth here:

Good heist film.

Classic Pacino.

An okay Tim Burton film. I felt like it could have been funnier.

A pretty standard but entertaining 'couple of old farts' comedy.

I'd not heard of this until recently. I consider it a gem.

Good horror movie.

I think The Descent is a great horror movie but I dislike it's ending. I'd hoped this sequel would fix that but it kinda leaves the ending of the first one unresolved and has the main character out of the caves for real (whereas the first movie showed it as a dream all of a sudden) with no explanation. Overall it's a rehash of the first movie in almost every way but they got the same kind of tension right at least.

I was a little worried over the removal of Emily Blunt as the first film's protagonist in this and the change in director as well, but it turned out to be a great action movie in its own right.

Brilliant from start to finish.

This satirises the hell out of the social media generation A.K.A. the kind of people I find ridiculous (which is why I watched it - I'd avoid a movie about people like this and is all #this and #that otherwise). While not as outright amusing as I was hoping, the movie works well as a psychological film. In truth, it's more amusing that RYM has voted down psychological drama as the film's primary genre, which I guess means most people seeing this film consider the dubious protagonist's behaviour as normal. That really fucking worries me.

Another great Al Pacino crime film, though this time playing a good guy.

I was actually surprised by how comedic this seemed. I was expecting it to come across as much more serious.

It's better than the first Wolverine solo film IMO, but Logan is the only excellent one.

This is a quite messed up psychological thriller. There's not much that can be said about it without spoiling plot twists.

It's unarguable given too much of a feel good theme to accurately portray the racism of those times, but overall it's a compelling movie about the space race and the unsung contributions of African-American women (especially the woman in the centre of the poster). Jim Parsons feels typecast as a Sheldon Cooper type character though.

I can see that it´s a general opinion, but personally I always enjoyed this one a lot: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458525/

Not as a comedic as advertised, but a solid drama.

Everything online would point to this actually being worse than The Bourne Legacy, but I actually found it a massive return to form after that largely boring fourth movie. You could perhaps call it an unnecessary movie but far from a bad one.

^ Yeah that's one of my favourite MCU films.

Disturbing and brilliant.

A little too long but a compelling if inaccurate thriller about the war on terror and hunt for Bin Laden.

Another Hitchcock masterpiece.

A disturbing drama.

An underrated movie IMO, a darkly comic psychological drama.

Brilliant early revisionist western.

Also brilliant 60's neo-western.
