Ok, this might go in the concert reviews section, but it doesn't look like anyone posts there...
So far this year I've been to: Nightwish w/Sabaton & Delain Haken w/Next To None , Imminent Sonic Destruction , Tiles Kamelot w/Dragonforce Rush Evergrey w/Voyager , Borealis , Oceans Of Slumber ...and I have tickets to see Symphony X w/Overkill in a couple of weeks  What about you guys? Sepultura Meshuggah AC/DC Metallica Korn Green Day Soulfly Marilyn Manson The Living End Jakob Beastwars There are others I can't remember them all. Coming up is AC/DC in December (this will be my eldest sons first concert) and I am expecting to go to see Sabbath and Maiden next year.

^I´m actually contemplating seing Sepultura in October. I saw them in 2014 and I was really impressed with their performance. It was my first time seing them with Derrick, and he was very convincing live. I saw them on the tour for Chaos A.D. too, but that was of course years ago and with Max.

You didn't see Machine Head? That's my only one so far. Going to see Devilskin in a couple of weeks, and Maiden when they come back. Even if they don't come to the South Island, I'm fucking going!

I used to have a live video of the Seps with Derrick on their first tour with him. His voice live is much stronger than Max's.

Took mine to AC/DC at about that age too. Then took him to Metallica in Wellington when he was about 14. He reckoned they were a shitload better then than the most recent tour.

Riverside is playing here the same night as that Symphony X/Overkill show.  Why oh why do my favorite bands do this to me? I'd love to see Riverside, I've never seen them before, but I've already purchased the Symphony X tickets. |
