Any of you Finnish guys know how to tag this act: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/nicole.aspx. It seems they started out as an alternative metal act and then turned towards death metal?

I remember liking the band very much when they released the debut album in 2002. I guess alternative could be a good tag? Damn, wish I remembered the album better, haven't listened to it since then... Perhaps Pekka knows better.

Actually I don't... They came out during a time when I was discovering prog and not really following at all what was happening in the metal scene. But that Alt to Death thing is what I've been hearing as well, we'd just have to find the changing point.
