Metal Music Archives is pleased to reveal the next stage of sub-genre expansion. Over these last years, we're come to realise the special relevance that Nintendocore has to the metal genre, so we are breaking it off into its own parent sub-genre. Nintendocore will of course then include a number of child sub-genres as follows:
Nescore Snesecore N64core Cubecore Wiicore (includes the inclusive genre of WiiUcore, which is totally not the same thing) Switchcore We also talked about Sonycore and Xboxcore, but decided they weren't metal. Edited by adg211288 - 01 Apr 2023 at 8:07am |

 Nintendocore will be remaining exactly where it is.
