Hey! Is the way to convert a .m3u or .pls playlist file to audio .mp3 file? Or any other common audio format.

It is very likely that such a conversion is not possible at all. Then maybe there is another way?

m3u is a playlist file. It's not actually an audio file, so you can't change it to mp3.

Maybe play the playlist file and somehow record it while it's playing to get the sound?

That's possible, yes. Either you have an "audio in" jack on your computer (which I suppose is rare, my old Macbook had it years ago), play the playlist on your phone and use a 3,5mm cable to record it to Audacity or something. Or use an app like Background Music for Mac that records your system audio.
