just a curious question
is theyr metal bands that have incorporated elements of eurpean electronica scene like house, techno and trance, or chillout, just wondering
like theyr are electronica bands incorporating metal elements, (most obvious Prodigy and Pendelum)
I would certainly look into such if it exist, and it is not particurlarly the monotonous bass pattern im after more the atmospheres, synth melodies, and ambience which some electronica produces

ofcourse Ulver is an obvious choice as a band that have tipped their toes in both worlds, but is they metal which both have chugging riffs but also Cafe, del Mar or Enya like melodies, other chillout parts,
okey also some of Aereons music have certain elements of electronica in the music, but then netherland is one of the biggest electronica exporters in the world so one might think Arian Luccason have toyed with it or sniffed at it

Not really a lot of Anaal Nathrakh (even this song) has a ton of electronic/industrial influence though. If you are looking for the reverse there's always Come to Daddy. |

Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

A favorite of mine have always been the band Samael. Passage, Solar Soul and Above are real recomendable (I'm tired so, to hell with grammar :P ).
I see that someone have already mentioned Shining (Nor). Blackjazz is an awesome album with a lot of cool electronica elements, |

The last two albums of Kekal are very electronic. Just listen to "Audible Minority" (is also free for download): http://kekal.bandcamp.com/album/audible-minority
And see this video, from the new album "8" Yes, "Track One" is the name of the song! |

Some mildly electronic-involving metal releases:
Amaranthe: "Amaranthe" (modern power metal with melodeath traits) Illdisposed: "There Is Light (But It's Not For Me)" (modern melodic death metal) Raintime: "Psychromatic" (modern power metal) Aborym: "Psychogrotesque" (industrial black metal) The Interbeing: "Edge of Obscure" (modern melodic industrial metal) |

I'm not a big fan, but some bands can pull it off well ...some can't though.

Grave Temple Trio or just Gravetemple on this site have long form pieces with quite a bit of electronic fiddling and experimentation going on.
