Greetings!  I've been registered on the site for a while now but I guess I never posted on the forum.  So...

I am a big fan of Prog Archives! I use it to find new bands and learn about the genre and all of that good stuff, but metal is my main love.  So when I heard about this site, I checked it out and loved the ratings system.  I also enjoy writing, so I figured that I would try my hand at that and help out a bit.  At first that's all I was interested in doing...but now I see that the people here are wonderful too!  And, uh...that's about it, I guess.  I look forward to talking metal with all of you!

Oh, right, I guess I forgot about that.  My favorite subgenres of metal are thrash, death, power, and progressive, but I'll give anything a shot.  As for favorite bands, there are a lot, but my absolute favorites are Death, Stratovarius, Amorphis, Overkill, and Sepultura.
