Yeah, there were a few sub-forums that didn't appear when I was logged out.  Perhaps enabling un-registered users to see these sections would increase the traffic around here.

I very much doubt he would respond, so I won't bother. I guess it's been like that the whole time and I didn't notice until now? Oh well.

I did bring this up somewhere ages ago, but nothing happened. Can't think of a good reason why it is so, so perhaps we'll get a change some day.

Actually being able to see the forums you would be posting in might encourage people to register, and you're not exactly overflowing with new members...It's just a little telling that nearly a quarter of the total posts in the forum are in the Collab Zone.
