The intro riff to Bolt Thrower's "Cenotaph" was repeated in the songs "Embers", "Power Burns", and "The Killchain".
Overall, which do you think is the best one in its entirety? Not just based on the intro. Here's all the songs: |

Cenotaph has the emotional edge for me, it was my first Bolt Thrower song, instant love. Also, it features that trademark gloomy atmosphere that characterizes the band so much. One they perfected, if I may add, on that monumental song (and album...) The IVth Crusade...
They are all great though. The Killchain stands out for it ultra heavy groove, quite surprising vibe for a Bolt Thrower song but daaamn, is it heavy...

I've been listening to BT for 7 years, but surprisingly I didn't see this resemblance; anyway, I pick Killchain for its groove and heaviness Edited by kogaionon - 29 Sep 2012 at 3:38am |

Powder Burns - catchy and groovy yet classy. The Killchain is great too.
