Always interested to hear bands from Eastern Europe because there seems to be many hidden gems. But I guess this band is definitely not my thing - I've always disliked too symphonic elements in black metal with only few exceptions (Anorexia Nervosa comes to mind). Most often those elements ruin the whole purpose of black metal which is IMO more about creating something utterly disgusting, dark and cold "music", if it's even a proper term always. (Not to forget occult themes but that goes off-topic already.) This is the reason why I find many symphonic and well-produced black metal bands uninteresting and unnecessary because they rely on tame and safe tricks.

Sorry, that went a bit off-topic but it does explain why I dislike bands like Tvangeste - though I base these opinions now on mere YouTube and MySpace clips.

I havent listened to Tvangeste yet, but will take a listen someday. Generally I agree with Vehemency though. Im not very interested in symphonic black metal bands either. Im mostly interested in the experimental/ avant garde kind of acts. If they have some post-war sci-fi themes and industrial elements too Im mostly sold.
