Hmm, I'm suddenly having problems inserting images in posts and get a message "error inserting objects in current location". I've recently moved to using windows 10 and wondered if that has anything to do with it. Anyone else having similar problems? I have had that error in the past but it usually worked on the 2nd attempt before but doesn't at all now.

Seen that error many times at random times, never know why it happens. Just give it another go.
Seems fine for me (win 7):

Did you take out the 's' in https? That usually works for me. It could be the image link too, sometimes certain links won't work.

Yep, I take the S out in http and tried 5 consecutive times. Works okay on our PC which has Vista on it so I'll just use that for now if I want to add an image.

^ That's interesting - it worked with chrome and i was using Microsoft edge before. I'll stick with chrome I think. Problem solved.

I've tried Windows 10 and Edge but didn't add it to my own computers. From what little I've used of it, they both seem really unstable. I'm really not shocked that something works in Chrome but not Edge.

^ Yeah, I've been looking up what people have been saying about Edge and it's not had great reviews and take up. Apparently many people who got Windows 10 didn't stick with it very long and I'm the next to dump it I think.

My mother downloaded Windows 10 and liked it at first after previously having 8.1 but now says that it's actually getting progressively worse. Unfortunately the one month rollback window to turn it back to 8.1 is long closed. Her laptop is barely usable sometimes.

^ I'm happy enough with Windows 10 as a whole and still using that but they can keep Microsoft Edge.
