   This is actually a fairly old interview with Dave Grohl from 2008 a few years after Denis "Piggy" D'Amour's (guitarist and vocalist of Voivod) death, wherein he talks about Voivod's influence on his music in Foo Fighters and his general music taste in general. I know it's not new by any means as it approaches a decade old, but I "unearthed" it during my recent crusade of listening to Voivod's entire discography through again, and I think it's a very fun and interesting look into both Voivod's influence on Dave but also their influence on the metal scene in general. It really shows that the band was and still is one of the brightest bulbs of the circuit.
