Thought I'd do a thread of our top 10 USPM bands. Here's mine:
1. Iced Earth 2. Jag Panzer 3. Echoes of Eternity 4. Twisted Tower Dire 5. Cage 6. Vicious Rumors 7. Sanctuary 8. Liege Lord 9. Steel Prophet 10. Skyliner Curious to know what everyone else's is! Try to only include bands whose majority of work is considered as such or if they have 3 or more albums that can be considered as such(otherwise I'd probably have Chastain on mine). |

Good thread idea, I think everyone who knows me will know what my number 1 is:
1. Helstar (The greatest band of all time) 2. Metal Church 3. Nevermore (I know they're listed as thrash here, but I've always seen them as more USPM) 4. Crimson Glory 5. Cage 6. Vicious Rumors 7. Brocas Helm 8. Liege Lord 9. Sanctuary 10. Meanstreak

Sanctuary Attacker Iced Earth Cauldron Born (very good one not mentioned yet) Liege Lord (though it's mainly for Master Control) Metal Church Crimson Glory Fates Warning (The Spectre Within/Awaken the Guardian period was USPM) Hexx Dark Design Matthias Steele (the debut is an absolute gem, also not mentioned here yet) Pharaoh

Forgot about those guys. There's so many awesome USPM bands that it's a bit hard to limit to just 10.

Yeah I know what you mean. It was tough not including bands like Helstar and Sacred Oath. |
