I am a massive Priest fan and didn't realize Lizzy was the opener until recently so they're just icing on the cake.

I saw both Lizzy and Priest at the High Voltage Festival in London in July, if they put on a similar show you're in for a treat.

(Un)fortunately I was also lucky to see them 30 years ago! I am old bastard too  (Thought I'd say that before UMUR posted it )

 

I really do follow pretty much all the genres of metal (and genres of music) but my formative years were the years of thrash and especially death metal so those 2 are closest to my heart. Lately I have been delving into progressive-ish metal (checking out albums listed highly in the heavy/metal sections of prog archives).

 

Judas Priest, King Diamond, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Opeth are 5 of my all-time favorites, but I can get down with almost anything from Appetite for Destruction to Ziltoid, or Accept to Zero Hour if you prefer.

 

I am extremely eager to check out Haken and the Arch/Matheos album.  

 

I got inspired to get back on last.fm and my name there is buttsled if you any of y'all want to be friends.

I was on it for awhile but lost interest since I mostly listened to music at work and that wasn't being cataloged blah blah blah. Getting reminded of it by y'all made me miss it.

You can see how bizarre my tastes really are.
