Yes I make the change to allow older browser on XP and such to render the font correctly.
Any comments ??

It seemed a bit off to me as well, but I think I'll get used to it. Doesn't make much of a difference to me.

I really like it
 It's a font that stands out very clearly and gives MMA an identity. It also looks kinda mechanical and VERY METAL!!  |

It's a new FONT that is more "compatible" with more browsers and OS.

Here's another one for you: I just got a new computer, and the text looks much more appropriate on Chrome in Windows 7 (I was previously using XP).
