i feal both bands are similiar, but on the other way, not really, thye are like enigma, bands which are the sound of each genere, and standard bearers, also two quite tallanted bands both composition wise and playing wise

I think Soundgarden is a better band, but Kyuss is a CLOSE 2nd. I think that Kyuss is way more original, but that Soundgarden just had their stuff together in so many ways.
I totally get what you mean--they both sound like grunge/alternative/early post-rock, but are two totally different artists with their own sound... |

i like both but Soundgarden yust do it more for me, i like thire songs more, alot of kyuss songs yust dont do that much for me.
