a late 70's US band that was evaluated on PA's
rejected in spite of having 1 fully prog album..and a 2nd that was pretty close.. if not fully prog why?...because they are 'considered' a heavy metal band ... but as if that wasn't strike enough for the progressive site known as PA's... they were associated with KISS...and that style of metal... great group... hopefully they have a place here |

I'll start their evaluation.
Any suggestions on where to start that might lead me to believe they belong in the Glam section? |

I meant any certain place within their discography.
Wikipedia isn't always the most useful resource. |

glam is as much about image as anything... including music Part of being an archival site is cataloging .. not being simply being 'judge, jury, and executioner' of popular tastes. That is, IMHO, a major weakness of PA's. Since this site is all about improving weakness and mistakes of the other site... I thought I might point that out.
I'll see what I can dig up for you Angel is considered by every music site known to man as ..glam rock.. heavy metal ... |

I know it all too well. Anyway, at PA we evaluated their first two albums, which are the proggiest - after that, they definitely became more of a glam-metal act, as their bio points out.

Jay, Steve, and I are going to deliberate on the issue. It isn't an obvious decision either way.
