On the risk of not obeying orders
 (its a "Metal" thing to do) . . .I had in mind a very realistic one . . . THE SWEDISH INVASION!!!!! or THE SWEDISH VIKING INVASION TOUR!!!!! (but seeing that there are Plenty of Viking Metal Bands now . . .)  !!THE SWEDISH INVASION!!
2. Soilwork 3. In Flames 4. Darkane 5. Arch Enemy 6. The Haunted 7. At the Gates (oh if only). Complete with Tour T-Shirts that have Vikings with Guitars and on Dragon Ships on East Coast American Shores staking claim with a Swedish Flag! (American Tour Dates on back).. . . hmm, I ought to design that. ". . . on we sweep, with thrashing oars, our only goal to reach the western shores!"

My various first concert was the Monsters of Rock concert in 1988 with Van Halen, Metallica, Scorpions, Dokken, and Kingdom Come. It was an awesome experience. I have never been to a rock festival since.
HEADLINER - Rush (of course)
Alternative Metal : Soundgarden Black Metal : Celtic Frost (I'm not a fan of black metal, but I've at least heard of Celtic Frost. I'd probably be over at the CD tents during this set)
Death Metal : Cynic (I've been told that I might like them although I've not heard them) Glam Metal : Van Halen (I'd probably be happiest with a festival of 7 glam metal bands, and would probably be happy with any of the bands listed under Glam Metal)
Prog Metal : Ayreon Thrash Metal : Metallica Trad. Heavy Metal : Judas Priest Would it be possible to slip Opeth into either the Black Metal or Death Metal slots? Edited by rushfan4 - 06 Jul 2010 at 1:05pm |

the Roskilde festival
 is for me a dream festival, they know what they do (eventhough I have used better toilets)
i am later on gonna write a sumary of my roskilde experience just need som time to think it through.
