This is not a major problem, but I've noticed that when adding links to this message field while composing a post, they are shown with a white font on a white background.
Is there a possibility to make the links appear in different colour on this message draft field and the posted message?

You could use the BBcodes.
I always use those, and the link appears in the regular color and font while typing the message.

Oh yes, this could be a good excuse to master the Macbook quick commands (I suppose there are some), as the [ ] symbols aren't accessible from the basic keys...
