Anyway, the big one he's probably missing would have to be Esoteric.  Weird-ass funeral doom, yet also really really good.



Other ones worth checking out include one more influential act called Funeral



the enigmatic Ea if you're looking for something a little more modern sounding



and Colosseum, another modern sounding one
