..and what are they? I'm enjoying some shots of spiced rum, they came in a 10-pk. and I believe the company is Caribbean Hook's Spiced Rum....also enjoying some Oddka "electricity" flavored vodka! I'm gonna get pickled tonight.

Shame I couldn't vote on any of those choices as my usual go-to beer is Samuel Adams(usually a variety pack at that)...however I also like Harpoon and UFO as well as Magic Hat and Stone(if I can afford it!). I feel like a beer virgin compared to some!!

Back in the 90s, I was actually given a guided tour of the Bell's distillery in Scotland. I noted that all employees had big blue or purple noses. And when I did a similar tour of the Sandeman port wine storages in Oporto, I noted that all the guides were a bit tipsy as if wirking in the fumes of port and sherry made them just slightly drunk.
As for diet soda tasting like shit, I've never actually tasted shit, so I have to take your word for it.

I am the ultimate lamoid and drank two bottles of wine a couple nights ago. Somehow i barfed in the shower, wiped my mouth on a nice clean white towel and somehow managed to make it through the evening without licking an electrical socket. WTF was i thinking? Of course i was MISERABLE yesterday. Sounds like you had a pleasant experience yourself :) Drinking is one of those dose dependent activities which i clearly fucked up. Aaaaargh! I have a bottle of Dow's fine tawney port.
I took it to a Christmas Eve party where everyone brings a bottle of wine to try, but it didn't get opened. So I'm drinking it myself
If you haven't had port, it's a sweet wine with double the alchohol, this is 19%. Most of your sweet reds or moscato's are 6-7%.

Haven't really had that many ports, other than one by a certain company I can't remember but yeah! Strong stuff!
UPDATE: It's Fairbanks(and not really an official "port", at least, not recognized by the EU or whomever)and I'm enjoying a bottle right now!

I was actually quite surprised to find it in a shop the other day. I've never seen it anywhere before apart from Amazon, who only seem to stock the original recipe. These were the newer stronger version.

I've got a http://www.speights.co.nz/Splash" rel="nofollow - Speight's and some http://macs.co.nz/" rel="nofollow - Mac's Gold. Speight's is sort of the most common beer drunk in the South Island (up north it's Lion Red, Waikato Draught and DB), and Mac's used to be a craft brewery, but it got bought out by one of the big breweries, which fortunately managed to keep the recipe without messing it up.

I have one bottle of the Hobgoblin Gold in the cupboard. I'm generally not so keen on the golden ales though. I will drink them but they are not a beer of choice for me.

Not drinking right now, but found in store today and now chilling in the fridge:
Very pleasantly surprised to find them after the debacle with the Red n Black.

Bought a bottle of this yesterday so will be enjoying some tonight. Always like to have a bottle of Malt Whisky in the house.

I didn't think that Trooper Hallowed was even supposed to be in shops until October 1st. I presume this is Morrisons only again?

That's where I found it at least. I'd heard they'd released it into their stores earlier than Robinsons Brewery intended it to be, so went to see if they had any. Almost missed it because it wasn't placed anywhere near the rest of the beer. They also only had these five left so I grabbed them all.
Just drank one. It's pretty nice.

Found in Asda late last night during a quick stop on the way home. Last two bottles on shelf.
Currently chilling in fridge. I find the IPA style a bit hit and miss to my palate but I'll always try a new brew from Wychwood.

Was at the M.E.N. Last night watching Purple and the only beverage they had left was Fosters. Not normally a lager drinker. It was like drinking really cheap rola cola, insipid and tasteless. I know a lot of folk enjoy it. Rather myself have a bottle of something a little more aley.

Some of us have just done another 14 hour shift. Sniff of the barmaid’s apron and I’d be out for the count 😉

Enjoying a gin and tonic. The gin of choice is Tanqueray! Good stuff.

Enjoyed a wheat beer and then a stout last night. Nice beers both of them.
