Hey MMA, jp here. Just switched from progarchives, diggin the new site. Anyways, just here to let you guys know of the band Five Finger Death Punch. I am surprised they have not been mentioned yet, as they are very popular (unless my searching is... bad). They are a Heavy/Thrash/Groove metal band from America, and have released two albums, The Way of The Fist (2007, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Way_of_the_Fist), and War Is The Answer (2009, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Is_the_Answer).
Bio (in case you couldn't tell, via wikipedia):

Formation and The Way of the Fist (2005-2009)

Hey there!
I know the band and have heard some stuff from them. Not too bad, but I'm not sure if they are thrash metal. My gut says it would be filed as alternative metal.
However, I shall listen to some more just to make sure.
Also my opinion is not god of course (yet Evil Smile)

Welcome to the site and yes, please do not be shy!

We havent forgotten about you, but were discussing which subgenre we should place the band in. As we are a bit understaffed at the moment it might take a while, but dont get discouraged. We will add the band.Smile
