i dont compare them i put them up against eachother, also botn heller popularize melk death, though Evergrey is more progy and botn are from Gothenburg

You don't call put them up against each other in a poll comparing them? Funny cause that's exactly what you just did.

Also Evergrey is not melodeath.

While I wouldn't call Evergrey melodeath, In Flames is certainly my favorite of the two. The Evergrey album I heard was okay, but In Flames's debut 'Lunar Strain' is a masterpiece.

Evergrey, but I agree they're not at all similar in any way, aside from both being Swedish.
