With new Iron Maiden out, I thought of making a poll of their albums since the reunion with Bruce and Adrian to this day.

Easy choice or not, pick a favorite (if any) and briefly explain your choice.

Brave New World. Just because it was so unexpectedly good after the previous two letdowns.

I think it´s A Matter of Life and Death. The new one is pretty great too though.

I've voted for BNW as well, actually it set the bar really high, none of the albums that followed touched that (IMO obviously).

A Matter of Life and Death for me. All of those albums are great, though. Thumbs Up

I thought about making this very poll a couple of says ago. I've relistened to the entire six man Maiden output a few times after The Book of Souls came out, and I've somewhat revised my opinions on them.

1. Brave New World ****½
2. A Matter of Life and Death ****
3. Dance of Death ****
4. The Final Frontier ***½

I'm still undecided on the new album, it's not as good as BNW (which was the album that got me into Maiden and I still enjoy greatly on every listen) but definitely better than TFF. So it will land somewhere between them.

I went Brave New World, I actually haven't heard the others - cool story me!

In actual fact I prefer Di`anno era Maiden although own everything up to "Fear Of The Dark" even though it all went a bit downhill after "Seventh Son..."

Would change this to Dance of Death these days. Though The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg is still one of my favorite Maiden tracks.

Disc 1 is good and stays with me after listening for the most part, but I can never remember anything from disc 2 and it kind of drags when I have listened to it. So overall, it's okay.

The Empire of the Clouds is one of the absolute best songs that they have ever done. 18 minutes of pure Maiden bliss Big smile
